Requirements for Participants
To join the International Physical Theatre Workshop, participants should meet the following requirements:
Professional Background: Experience in the performing arts.
Collaboration: Willingness to actively engage in group work, including physical contact, and contribute to a collaborative environment.
Openness to Experimentation: Readiness to explore new methods and ideas.
Language Proficiency: Working language is European English.
Etiquette: By participating in our events, participants are expected to follow our etiquette.
Application: Submit a resume (CV). Selection is competitive and based on professional background and alignment with the training’s goals.
Curriculum Overview
Participants will engage in practical techniques and improvisational exercises to understand how to work with actors, helping them build movement, body angles, and placement in accordance with their characters.

Designed as a multidisciplinary intensive workshop, the training involves participation with performers from various techniques and countries, emphasizing NIPAI's principles of multidisciplinarity and multiculturality.
Workshop Leaders
Sergei Ostrenko
Sergei Ostrenko has over 40 years of professional experience as a Director, Choreographer, and Performance Teacher.
He has directed more than 40 theatre productions and has produced international projects for both professional stages and educational settings in numerous countries, including Austria, Belarus, Canada, the Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Russia, Slovenia, Sweden, Ukraine, and the United Kingdom.
Gennadiy Ostrenko
Gennadiy Ostrenko is a professional expert in theatre biomechanics, movement directing, and stage combat.
Although he was trained at a Fine Arts Academy, Gennadiy has spent the majority of his life professionally engaged in theatre. His stagecraft skills have allowed him to diversify his artistic activities, leading him to focus extensively on physical theatre and movement expressiveness. He frequently collaborates with his brother, Sergei, as a Movement Director in various performance productions.

Registration Details
The Early Bird Fee is 500 EUR (valid until November 8, 2024). After this date, the fee increases to 600 EUR. This cost includes full participation in the international workshop, spanning 5 days (28 working hours).

Certificate
The certificate is provided after student's participation in the training and submitting the report/essay or video of their experience at the program (1500 words).
The certificate is only awarded to those who attended the workshop from start to finish, completing at least 28 working hours.
