Actors developing spatial relationships and group movement in theatre directing training process

Theatre Directing: Advanced Diploma Programme

You direct. You have instinct and experience. What you want now is a consistent method - one that works across different material, different companies, different production conditions. The 18-month programme is built around that specific gap.

Movement Directing: Advanced Diploma Programme

Movement is a primary language in your work. The 18-month programme builds your capacity to direct that language - in actors, in ensemble, across the full arc of a production.

Theatre Directing for Beginners

You are building your directing practice. The 12-month certificate gives you the foundational workflows, the Director's Book, and the individual feedback to make your rehearsal room work.

Actors developing blocking and movement patterns in theatre performance training

Choreography and Blocking in Performance

You put people on stage and something is not right. You move them and it shifts - but you cannot always say why. This course works on that: how to read composition, how to make deliberate spatial decisions, how to approach blocking as a language rather than logistics.

Ensemble Building Programme

You can direct actors. That is a different skill from building a company that works as one. Ensemble is not atmosphere - it is a structure, and it can be built deliberately. This course opens the tools for that work: how to open the room, how to develop shared physical habits, how to sustain ensemble conditions across a rehearsal process.

The Director and the Play

You read the play. You have a response to it. What you do not yet have is a method for turning that response into decisions that hold up in the rehearsal room. This course works on that question: how does a director move from text to action? Three months, one play, one documented process.

Digital Presence for Performing Artists

Your work happens in the room - in rehearsal, on stage, in the body. This programme brings that same authenticity online. Over 12 weeks, you will stop performing for algorithms and start showing your actual practice: the process, the doubt, the breakthroughs. Not to build an audience - to find the people who are already looking for exactly what you make, and the possibilities that come with it.

The Director and Design

This 3-month distance programme produces six concrete documents: the visual and spatial materials a director needs for design meetings, production communication, and professional applications - built around your own production project.

The Director's Sketchbook

The sketchbook is one of the most practical tools a director has. Not because you need to draw well. Because drawing forces you to see. And a director who can't see a scene before staging it is always one step behind.

The Director and
Stage Lighting in Performance

By the end you will have authored a complete lighting score and acquired a collaborative language you will use in every production that follows.
