Practical Workshop: Social Media in Performing Arts: Marketing Strategies of Artistic Visibility
Laubegg Castle, Austria - December 20, 2025

“I have talent, but no one sees my work.”
Most performers struggle with one crucial skill they never learned in training: how to make their artistry visible in the digital age.
A few days ago at our conference, Kseniia Lohvyniuk asked the room: “How many of you see social media as a separate job rather than a tool you can use as an artist?” Almost every hand went up.
Kseniia led a workshop titled “Social Media in Performing Arts: Marketing Strategies of Artistic Visibility.” She has spent eight years working in marketing and the last four years working with NIPAI and theatres in Germany, and she understands something crucial - most artists never learned how to talk about their work in a way that feels authentic. They don’t need to become marketers. They need to use social media as a tool that supports their artistic goals, not change their profession.
The session was hands-on from the start. Participants broke into small groups, worked through exercises on defining their artistic identity, and created content strategies they could apply the next day. No generic advice about “posting consistently.” Just practical methods for performers who want visibility without sacrificing depth.
What surprised us? How much the conversation shifted from “I don’t know what to post” to “I finally understand what makes my work worth sharing.” That clarity - that’s what builds careers.
If you missed it, we’re planning to share more from the session soon. The strategies Kseniia introduced work because they start with who you are as an artist, not what the algorithm wants.
Stay tuned for updates on upcoming sessions and resources.
