The Six-Week Movement Directing Workshops provide students with a strong foundation in movement directing and teaching. The program includes mentoring course where students will have an opportunity to assist the performance production. Designed for people who wish to study the craft of movement directing, choreography, stage combat and many more in an intensive multi-aspect environment.

This program is designed as a laboratory where students will be introduced to the effective techniques and approaches to movement directing in the context of the short rehearsal time and multicultural aspect of the creative team.

Students will be able to research such topics as stage combat, theatre biomechanics, ensemble building, movement techniques, movement directing, performance research, team-working and other. Students will be fully immersed into the making of a performance, observing, assisting, creating and documenting the process, in line with additional creative tasks given by the mentor.

This short specialist program is designed for those who want to work in training, education and theatre as movement teachers and directors, for movement researchers and for movement specialists in theatre, film, television and other cultural industries.

Before the workshop starts, students will receive series of distant tasks.
