! All students create, perform, write, act, direct, participate in intensive training, get distant tasks and work in multidisciplinary and multicultural contexts. As in all NIPAI programs, the one-year course emphasizes hands-on learning. During the studies, you may expect to encounter work associated with classical methods and modern approaches. Teaching methods include tutorials, group seminars, distant learning and workshops.

Our students are performance and movement practitioners who wish to improve or diversify their skills and knowledge, as well as practitioners from an allied sport/practice who need a deeper understanding of movement in contemporary performance.
Movement directors propose a physical language to performers and directors, create training methods and teach skills that will help facilitate a specific physical style.

The year is divided into two semesters. At the Program, students receive over 500 hours of hands-on instruction and actual experience.
The curriculum of the Movement Directing Course is composed of various subjects that are systemized in 3 semesters, 6 modules and a study project. Each module consists of subjects and topics, which incorporate a number of theoretical and practical tasks.
Enrolled students are provided with detailed information regarding the content and schedule of each seminar.
Each semester consists of InClass sessions and distant learning.
Practical sessions are designed as a one-week residential lab that includes intensive practical training and discussions.
Distant learning is provided through an online platform and can be attended from around the world.

Study Project is carried out within a choosen by student theatre organization or theatre group.
All students pursuing a certificate program at The New International Performing Arts Institute must be proficient in English and earn a bachelor's degree (at a minimum) or an acceptable equivalent. Applicants must also submit a Creative Portfolio, more details on Entry Requirements.
