ENTRY REQUIREMENTS FOR
MOVEMENT DIRECTING DIPLOMA COURSE

NIPAI student admission and enrollment are done on a competitive basis.

WHO CAN APPLY?

  • Students who earn Bachelor's Degree (at the minimum);

WHAT DOCUMENTS SHOULD BE SUBMITTED?

  • Creative Portfolio and CV

  • Scanned copy of Passport or ID Card*

  • Scanned copy of university diploma(s)*

  • Scanned copy university transcript(s)*

  • motivation letter explaining reasons for applying to the course (1,500 words)

All documents should be in English, or translated by an authorized translator.

WHAT IS CREATIVE PORTFOLIO?

Applicants should submit one (or more) writing sample OR visual sample. Please note: if submitting photography samples, you may include up to 10 photographs maximum.

Writing Sample may include any ONE of the following:

  • Short description (1,500 words) of simple movement exercises that you would teach to trainee performers (maximum 10 pages).

  • Treatment or outline of performance, short movie, concept, or other (maximum 3 pages).​

Visual Sample may include any ONE of the following:​

  • A video of short example of your own movement work, which should last no longer than 10 minutes and reflect your particular movement style and connection to movement (no longer than 10 minutes).

  • A photo or video of the original previous created works (in role of choreographer, trainer or coach). 

WHAT IS EVIDENCE OF COMPETENCE IN ENGLISH?

International applicants, for whom English is not their first or native language, who apply to NIPAI's long-term diploma or certificate programs, are asked to provide one of the following as proof of English language proficiency:

  • Language of instruction - degree from university where English is the only language of instruction. 

  • IELTS: total score of 6.5 (or at least 5.5); 

  • TOEFL: internet-based test: total score of 72; 

  • Or any other internationally recognized certificate with at least B1 level of English proficiency. These tests must be taken no more than two years prior to commencing your course. 

We will also consider your other qualifications and professional experience as part of your application.

If, education and qualifications do not meet the requirements, the passage of additional modules within NIPAI Courses can be offered (for additional fee).​

Student Groups are formed on a competitive basis.

TUITION FEES

For individual applicants, there are the following payment options available:


Option 1. Tuition fee is made in one installment.

Option 2. Tuition fee is made in two installments.

Option 3. Tuition fee is made in three installments.

Option 4. Tuition fee is made on a monthly basis.

Once admitted to NIPAI, students should pay a deposit to secure their place in the program. The deposit for all long-term programs (one year or longer) is 1500€ as part of the tuition fee.
